The Spacemaker system is based on a series of insulated wall and roof panels that assemble quickly and easily to build Class 1 Habitable home extensions. Spacemaker extensions are perfect for adding a family or rumpus room, another bedroom or two, a study, a parents retreat or kids playroom, even a granny flat. They can include kitchens, bathrooms and ensuites and are most commonly built on the ground level, off the back or side of your house.

We build our Spacemaker extensions on concrete slab floors, or raised timber and steel deck floors, depending on what best suits your site. Because a lot of the preparation work is done in the factory the actual building time is kept to a minimum; most of our extensions go from the finished floor to lock-up stage in just three to four days.

The savings in building time mean huge savings in the cost of the job. Very often we are around half the cost of conventional ( brick and tile ) building - our average extension costs somewhere between $25000 and $32000. For most people that means you don't have to worry about over capitalising your property, and finance can be easily arranged.

All the internal walls in our Spacemaker extensions are lined in gyp rock; just like any other wall in your house. The outer face of the walls can be finished in a modern rendered look if we're trying to blend with brick veneer, or cladding boards if your house is clad. The roof panels have a Color bond metal outer profile and an internal ceiling face of embossed white steel that never needs painting. Being fully insulated Spacemaker extensions are easy to keep cool in summer and warm in winter.
